The LSU Tigers will enter the 2008 season with 693 victories, the 12th most in NCAA history, and the 4th most of any SEC team, behind only Alabama (787), Tennessee (771), and Georgia (714). LSU will also enter the 2008 season with a 0.640 all-time winning percentage, the 14th best in the NCAA, and the 4th best in the SEC, behind only Alabama (0.706), Tennessee (0.697), and Georgia (0.644).

Five years later, they did it again, beating the Ohio State Buckeyes with a 38-24 score, thus becoming the first team since the advent of the BCS to win multiple BCS national titles.

LSU is ranked as the number one team both in the AP Top 25 and USA Today. Yes, the nation agrees that this team is a powerhouse in the college gridiron and being a national powerhouse has its advantages.

One of which is easier recruiting. The Tigers already have top-tier speed and talent throughout the entire roster, from receivers to linebackers to water boys. As their starters graduate or go pro, there always seem to be an All-American backup waiting for his turn to shine and be a part of LSU.

And despite the fact that former defensive coordinator Bo Pellini has moved on to take the head coaching job at Nebraska, the Tigers will still be a consistent and well-coached football team. Les Miles has established himself as one of the top five elite coaches in the nation and you can bet your ass that as long as he…

Betting Tips for 2007 NCAA College Football Week 11

Saturday, November 10th, 2007

This season, we have reliable teams you can still bet on despite the number of upsets we’ve been having this year.

One of these ‘reliable’ teams is this powerhouse team from Ohio, the No.1 team in the country this 2007 NCAA college football season. That’s the Buckeyes of Ohio State.

The Ohio State Buckeyes continue to remain on top of the BCS rankings despite the wild weeks we’ve been having on the college gridiron. On Saturday, Ohio State takes on the Illinois Fighting Illini and there’s no doubt that the 10-0 Buckeyes will soon score their 11th straight win of the season when they renew their rivalry with Illinois.

Probably dubbed as the ”battle for Illibuck,’ both the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Illinois Fighting Illini will again be playing for ‘Illi Illibuck‘ that makes this college football rivalry one of the most intriguing ever. Expect the Buckeyes to beat Illinois.

The Michigan Wolverines, after struggling to start the 2007 NCAA college football season, have found themselves ranked No.12 and will probably be going for at least a BCS bowl game at season’s end.

They will be taking on the Wisconsin Badgers in a game the Wolverines need more than Wisconsin. Wolverines quarterback Chad Henne was able to lead this team to 8-2, winning EIGHT games in a row and are now looking to win the Big Ten title.

As for the Badgers, let’s just say Michigan would just…
