Can Ricky Hatton KO Manny Pacquiao?
Ricky Hatton is set to fight Manny Pacquiao this Saturday.
For all ya’ll wondering, we’ll be having the Manny Pacquiao – Ricky Hatton fight on May 2, dubbed as ‘’The Battle of East and West.’’ And as always, I’m hoping that Hatton would be the one who’ll finally end Pacquiao’s career inside the ring.
If there was ever a bad match-up for Pacquiao, a fight against Ricky ‘’the Hitman’’ Hatton would have to be it. While probably the slower puncher than the lightning fast fighter, Hatton is much, much tougher, in estimation.
Hatton attacks and will be more than happy to brawl with anyone. And while I had my problems with the way Manny ‘’the Pacman’’ Pacquiao throws scientific boxing out the window, I won’t have any problems at all watching Ricky disregard his technical skills to go toe to toe with Manny as long as he gets the job done.
Besides, Hatton tends to wrestle his opponents on the inside and when used against brawlers like Manny, Hatton should be able to tire him out easily. Pacquiao will soon find out early on that Hatton is a bit too tough for his tastes after the Englishman bullies him and pushes him around from the opening bell.
Yep, it definitely doesn’t look good for Manny Pacquiao and his remaining supporters.
To make matters worse for Pacmania, while Hatton was working his ass off to prepare for his fight on May 2, Pacquiao was out trying to weasel his way from contract to contract just to get even more cash.
