Can Miami U finally beat Georgia Tech?
We’ve seen a lot of interesting finishes on the football field the last few days.
For those of you who want more, the third week of the 2009 NCAA college football season should have enough fantastic finishes that will definitely keep you on the edge of your seat.
That’s right, we have great games for you to bet on this week and since we still can’t forget what the Miami Hurricanes did a few days ago, we’re going to take a look who they have this week.
The Hurricanes got back into the AP Top 25, checking in at no.20 and virtually assuring they’ll be a ranked program when they next play the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets on Thursday.
The Hurricanes are fresh from a 38-34 victory over Florida State that came down to the game’s final play, which should keep them in high spirits when they play Georgia Tech. The problem is, the Yellow Jackets have beaten Miami four straight times, including a 41-23 laugher (it was 41-10 at one point) a season ago, a loss that kept the Hurricanes out of the Atlantic Coast Conference championship game.
Can the Hurricanes redeem themselves on Thursday? I have a feeling they will.
On Friday, we have the Boise State Broncos taking on the Fresno State Bulldogs. The Broncos are ranked no.12 after their big win over Oregon. They likely will be favored in every game the rest of the year as long as some key players stay healthy.
On the other hand, the Fresno State Bulldogs started their season on the right track with a blowout victory over UC Davis. However, things got much tougher when they played the Wisconsin Badgers in a game they lost 34-3. And with Boise State, Cincinnati and Hawaii in the next four weeks, with three of those games on the road, things won’t get any easier.
It would be best to stay away from these guys this month.
