With 9-2 odds to win it all this 2008 NCAA college basketball season, the Kansas Jayhawks join the UCLA Bruins as the teams to beat in the coming madness this March. That’s according to the folks who work with Sportsbetting.com.

The Kansas Jayhawks are ranked 4th in the AP Top 25 polls, while the UCLA Bruins sit at No.6 overall with a 22-3 record. Of course, we have more than enough of college hoops left until March Madness so don’t expect those rankings to remain the way it is at this point of the season.

2008 March Madness Bracket TournamentAs far as the team at the top is concerned, the Memphis Tigers still remain unbeaten with an incredible 25-0 record. However, we’re not expecting those guys to remain perfect.

The Tennessee Volunteers sit behind the No.1 Tigers with a 23-2 record. Can they keep this up ’til March Madness? Um… Probably not.

Perhaps the biggest rivalry in all of college hoops is being relived this season with both the North Carolina Tar Heels and the Duke Blue Devils doing so well to own the No.3 and No.5 spots, respectively.

Sportsbetting.com has the North Carolina Tar Heels with 6-1 odds to win the NCAA college hoops title while giving the Duke Blue Devils with 9-1 odds to say otherwise.

The last time the Tar Heels and the Blue Devils met on the hardwood, it was Duke who drew first blood, beating UNC 89-78. Of course they’ll be meeting again as the season progresses but until then, I’ll be keeping my fingers crossed for a North Carolina - Duke face-off for the 2008 NCAA college basketball championship.

Who will win the 2007-08 NCAA College Basketball Championship? Sportsbetting.com has the odds.

North Carolina Tar Heels 6-1

UCLA Bruins 9-2

Memphis Tigers 6-1

Duke Blue Devils 9-1

Ohio State Buckeyes 100-1

Florida Gators 100-1
