Sonics win their last game at the KeyArena in Seattle

Tuesday, April 15th, 2008

At least the Sonics ended their era in Seattle on a high note.

We could very well have seen the last NBA game the Sonics will ever play at the KeyArena in Seattle, Washington. In what has been an emotional night for the fans in Seattle, the Sonics rallied from a six-point deficit in the final three minutes to beat the powerhouse Dallas Mavericks team, 99-95, last Sunday.

If this game was the last game the Seattle Sonics will have at the KeyArena, at least they ended what has been 41 years of basketball on a high note. The Seattle locals roared in appreciation, showing just how bad they still want the Sonics here and their plea to make them stay.

Seattle SonicsSonics rookie Kevin Durant, who finished the game with 19 points and scored twice in the final 45 seconds to lead his team to a dramatic come-from-behind win, knew what Seattle wanted from their team that night and they delivered.

‘’I almost cried, to be honest with you. People kept saying it might be the last game in Seattle,’’ Kevin Durant said. ‘’It was phenomenal.’’

Phenomenal it was indeed. Even ex-Sonic Gary Payton showed up to pay his respects to his former team before the possible move from Seattle to Oklahoma. ‘’It will be a disaster if they move them after 41 years,’’ Gary Payton said before halftime. ‘’I don’t think these fans deserve that.’’

‘’But anything is possible. Everybody just needs to keep their hopes up and…”

Max MosleyThe 67-year-old, who has been married for 48 years, was at one point whipped so hard that the orgy had to be halted while a bandage was applied to stop his bleeding.

As President of FIA, Mosley is responsible for overseeing international motor sports, including Formula One. He enjoys a close relationship with F1 Supremo Bernie Ecclestone. Mosley’s father Oswald was a notorious fascist and Hitler supporter. Max has been controversially linked to his father’s beliefs.

As expected, people are already clamoring for his…

Thursday, April 10th, 2008

The 2008 Masters golf tournament started this Wednesday and will stretch until Sunday, April 13. And as always, Tiger will be there looking to win his fifth one.

You read it people, Tiger Woods will be looking to win one for the thumb as he goes for his fifth Masters title. STILL, we’re still talking about Tiger Woods here and win no.5 at the Masters looks to be in…
