Shwan Marion of the Phoenix SunsThe Phoenix Suns are ready to shine as they visit the struggling Miami Heat as the 2007-2008 NBA regular season continues to unfold.

Phoenix Suns are coming off a third-straight Pacific Division championship, two Conference Finals appearances in the last three years and a trio of consecutive 54-plus win seasons.

Phoenix Suns will be led by Suns two-time MVP Steve Nash; Phoenix forwards Shawn Marion and Boris Diaw and with the addition of Phoenix guard Grant Hill.

With Phoenix Suns stalwart power forward Amare Stoudemire might not be able to play against the Miami Heat due to injury, Suns still have the edge in terms of talent and team chemistry.

With Phoenix Suns guards Steve Nash, Raja Bell and Leandro Barbosa, the Suns boast one of the best backcourts in the 2007-2008 NBA regular season.

Phoenix Suns’ guard Steve Nash contribution to the Suns cannot be understated. Steve Nash’s ability to penetrate and reset without giving up the dribble confuses even the best rotating defenses. And when the Phoenix Suns needs a clutch basket, Steve Nash is clutch.

While the struggling Miami Heat is still looking for answers beware of Heat’s center “Diesel” Shaq O’Neal leading the pack. Newly recruit Miami guard Ricky Davis is expected to take the cudgels in scoring and provide some energy together with other Miami Heat’s guard Dorell Wright and Jayson Williams.

The good news for the Miami Heat is that Heat 2006 Finals MVP Dwayne Wade returned to practice Monday with reported no problems related to his left knee and left shoulder, both of which was operated last May. But the bad news for Miami is that Heat guard Dwayne Wade still does not know when he will be ready to return to the Miami Heat lineup.

“It was just good to be back out there playing, to be back out there practicing,” said Miami Heat guard Dwayne Wade, the three-time All-Star who averaged a career-high 27.4 points last season. “Every player loves the games and not too many love practice, but today I loved practice — for the first time.”

This game between the Phoenix Suns and the Miami Heat will be a blowout. Phoenix will use their up and tempo game against the aging Miami Heat. To find out more NBA betting tips, or to place a bet on Phoenix Suns vs. Miami Heat and other games of the 2007-08 NBA regular season, click here.
