Kentucky Contenders battle it out Fountain of Youth Stakes at Gulfstream
Nobiz Like Showbiz is the favorite to win the $350,000 Fountain of Youth (gr. II) Stakes 1 1/8 mile at Gulfstream Park on Saturday.
The top three finishers from the Holy Bull Stakes – Nobiz Like Shobiz, Drums of Thunder, and Scat Daddy – go head-to-head on Saturday, March 3 for the $350,000 Fountain of Youth (gr. II) Stakes 1 1/8 mile at Gulfstream Park.
Seen by horse racing fans as contenders for the upcoming Kentucky Derby, the trio of thoroughbreds are expect to be favorites to win, place, and show on Saturday.
Nobiz Like Shobiz should be the favorite after his 1 1/2-length win in the Feb. 3 Holy Bull stakes which was also ran at Gulfstream on the same surface.
The race will also include the William Currin & Al Eisman horse Stormello. Stormello will be making his first start since his Hollywood Futurity win last December. Also, up-and-comer Adore the Gold, winner of four of his past five starts, is entering the race after his win in the Swale Stakes (gr. II).
