2007 Kentucky Derby Results: Street Sense wins!
Three-year old Kentucky Derby winner Street Sense left 19 other horses in his dust. Street Sense paid out $11.80 to win, $6.40 to place and $4.60 to show. Let’s see where they all landed.
Finishing 2 1/2 lengths behind in second place was
Hard Spun, paying $9.80 tto place and $7 to show.
Previously unbeaten Curlin, the 5-1 second choice, finished another 5 3/4 lengths back paying $5.60 to show.
Imawildandcrazyguy was another half-length back in fourth and Sedgefield finished fifth. Circular Quay finished sixth and trainer Todd Pletcher, who had a record-tying five horses, was skunked again. He is now 0-for-19 in the Derby.
Tiago was seventh, then came Any Given Saturday, Sam P. and Nobiz Like Shobiz. Dominican finished in 11th, followed by Zanjero, Great Hunter, Liquidity and Bwana Bull. Storm in May, who is blind in his right eye, was 16th, trailed by Teuflesberg, Scat Daddy, Stormello and finally Cowtown Cat in last.
