Nets confident of stealing Game 4 vs Pacers
Road wins this season at Detroit and Miami, and past playoff road victories at Indiana, Boston, Detroit and San Antonio give the New Jersey Nets confidence.
Coming back this season after a 9-12 start to win 10 in a row and knocking off 14 consecutive teams after dropping five-of-six later in the year serve as reminders.
Being down to the Indiana Pacers 2-1 in the best-of-seven 
first-round series with Game 4 Saturday at Conseco Fieldhouse is not an ideal situation. But the Nets go into the game confident that they can return to New Jersey with the series even and the home-court advantage back in their favor.
To tie the series, the Nets have to play better defensively than in Game 2, something they’re more than capable of doing.
The Nets gave up the sixth-fewest points in the NBA during the regular season and were seventh in field-goal defense. They’re confident that team will show up Saturday and not the one that allowed Jermaine O’Neal to score 37 and Anthony Johnson to get 25 in Game 3.

The Nets were buried after losing Game 3 of the 2002 Eastern Conference Finals in Boston. It will be remembered for the Nets wasting a 21-point fourth-quarter lead. But they won the next three games en route to their first trip to the NBA Finals.
