Heirs of the NFC North Throne Battle in NFL Week 8
The NFC North were once all about the Green Bay Packers and the Minnesota Vikings. This year, those Vikings have only a couple of wins to show for and the Packers, well, they are the worst NFL football team in the NFC North at this point of the season.
Now, both the Detroit Lions and the Chicago Bears took control of this NFL division as they found themselves tied atop of the NFC North standings, owning an even 3-3 win-loss record.
On Sunday, both the Chicago Bears and the Detroit Lions will face-off to not only break this deadlock atop the NFC North but to determine which team is really the best among their 
division.
The Detroit Lions didn’t really have a great time when they faced-off with the Bears the last time. To sum it up in simpler terms, the Lions just let their game against the Bears, slip away.
Coming into this Sunday’s NFL football game, the Lions will have a chance to redeem themselves and return the bitter taste of defeat to the Bears. Even though the Lions will welcome the Bears with a depleted line-up, these Lions will be pumped up when it’s time to kickoff the football.
”This is a battle to be all alone in first place,” said head coach Steve Mariucci.
”I’ve mentioned before, this division is going to go right down to the end probably. It’s a big game for us and our fans and this division and we can’t wait,” he added.
This enthusiasm from the Detroit Lions will lift them past the Chicago Bears come Sunday. The Bears will play on the Lions’ den and those Lions will feed off the energy of their home crowd.
