Former Wolf Returns to the Pack to Whoop Kevin Garnett’s NBA @$$

The Minnesota Timberwolves are on the brink of losing probably the most talented player in the NBA right now, Kevin Garnett.

It all started way back when the Timberwolves traded away Stephon Marbury much to the disapproval of Kevin Garnett. And then in the offseason, when it seemed like the Timberwolves will finally focus playing basketball, the Timberwolves organization lost key pieces in their run for the NBA Championship, Latrell Sprewell, Sam Cassell and long-time mentor, Flip Saunders.

Now, after spending most of his career with Minnesota, Kevin ‘The Big Ticket’ Garnett is on the trading block.

Adding more problems in the Minnesota camp, the red-hot L.A. Clippers will be coming to town. This will mark Sam Cassell’s return to the Target Center and with all the pent-up rage going on between these two teams, emotions will definitely run high.

For one, the Clippers, after spending most of their existence in the NBA as a sub-par team, are finally winning. They are owning a better record now than city rivals, L.A. Lakers, the basketball diamond of California.

Now, the Clippers are out to prove that they are the future kings of the basketball court and beating KG in his own yard will certainly prove just that.

Of course, there’s also Sam Cassell, who will be out to prove that letting him go in the offseason is the biggest mistake the Timberwolves organization has done. Sam Cassell’s contribution to the Clippers is unfathomable. Cassell, together with Correy Maggette creates the fusion outside shooting and speed, leadership and desire, not to mention experience and youth, that has propelled the Clippers out of mediocrity in emphatic fashion.

Come game time, the Minnesota Timberwolves will have even more problems as the Los Angeles Clippers come into town. When it’s all said and done, the Wolves will still have to deal with their own problems within their faction, count that plus dealing with another loss at the hands of a former wolf.
